Farms.com Ltd. has assembled an accomplished Board of Directors. The Board is made up of experienced leaders who have extensive professional backgrounds in the North American Agriculture and Food industry.

Mr David Gilmour, Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Gilmour is a senior executive with an extensive background based in the meat industry. His professional career includes a senior executive position with Cargill Ltd Agriculture operations (seed, swine, feed) for twenty-five years and as a senior manager with the Cargill Foods’ meat distribution business. In 1993, he established Gilmour Strategies Inc., and has been working with clients in the meat industry with emphasis on strategic planning, market assessment, and new product development. Mr. Gilmour is an Animal Science graduate from the University of Guelph and received a Masters degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Finance). Mr. Gilmour has been an advisor and board member of Farms.com Ltd. since the company was founded in the mid 1990’s. In 2001, he was elected to the Chairman of the Board position with the company.

Dr. Michael Wilson

Dr. Wilson has been a member of the Farms.com Board since the company was founded. Dr. Wilson has an extensive background in the agriculture industry as a Veterinarian, University Professor as well as a successful entrepreneur and businessman.

Dr. Vincent Amanor-Boadu

Dr. Vincent Amanor-Boadu is the Director of the Kansas Ag Innovation Center, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center and ensuring that the Center achieves its mandate. Vincent received his PhD from the University of Guelph in Ontario Canada and worked at the George Morris Centre, an agri-food think-tank as the Director of Research until leaving to start AgriFood Innovations, an agri-food strategy and technology services organization. Vincent specializes in agri-food supply chain management, entrepreneurship and value-added business development. The Innovation Center is a collaborative effort involving Kansas State University's Department of Agricultural Economics, Kansas State University's College of Agriculture's Bio-processing and Industrial Value-Added Center (BIVAC), Kansas Department of Commerce's Agricultural Marketing Division, Advanced Manufacturing Institute (AMI) and 21st Century Producers. The Center has operated with grant funds from USDA and support funding from Kansas Department of Commerce and K-State. He lives in Manhattan, Kansas.

Mr. Graham Dyer, President and CEO, Farms.com Ltd.

Mr. Dyer has broad business and consulting experience in the financial (banking), new economy, food and agricultural sectors and was part of the founding management team of eHARVEST.com (later Farms.com). Mr. Dyer has assisted numerous companies in strategic development, business planning, and raising equity financing. He has an extensive education and business background with a B.Sc. in Agricultural Business, a Masters in Business Administration, is a Chartered Accountant and is a Chartered Business Valuator. Mr. Dyer sits on the Board of Directors for a number of organizations, such as CTT Economic Development Corporation, Guelph Partnership in Innovation as well as numerous private companies.

Mr. Joseph Dales, Senior Vice President and CoFounder, Farms.com Ltd.

Mr. Dales is Senior Vice President and oversees the company's business strategies in conjunction with senior management. Prior to Farms.com, Mr. Dales was a pioneer in the agriculture technology sector. He was founder and CEO of eHARVEST.com, an Internet company for the agriculture industry. During his three years of leadership, the company became one of the leading agri-food B2B e-commerce players and subsequently merged with Farms.com in March, 2000. Mr. Dales has over 15 years of agri-marketing and management experience with leading companies such as Pfizer, United Agri-Products, Novartis Seeds and Cyanamid Crop Protection. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an MBA. Mr. Dales serves on the board of several agriculture, food and technology companies.

Strategically, our Board members have deep industry knowledge and significant relationship networks through out the major components of the Food Chain, starting with Agriculture Inputs into Farm Production through Processors/Distribution to the Retailer/Grocer and finishing with the Consumer.
