Loftness 15 and 20 Windrower Shredders

Loftness introduces its 15 and 20 Windrower Shredders. New and improved shredders include a diffuser has been added to the rear of the shredder with vertical parallel rods. The closely spaced parallel rods deflect material downward allowing air to pass through, resulting in a well-formed windrow. The wings have been redesigned and extended which guides material into a windrow. A rear air vent has been added venting unwanted air upwards, while directing shredded material towards the rear diffuser. A full-length plate, located behind the rotor, has been added to help guide shredded material toward the diffuser. Improved field operation and road transporting is seen due to repositioning of the rear wheels. New specifications denote the quantity of cupped knives required to improve air velocity, without compromising the ability to effectively harvest crop residue.
