Jobhog Inc.(www.jobhog.net) has acquired the business assets of AgCareers, an employment web site owned by Farms.com. The www.farms.com website is one of the leading internet portals for agriculture. Farms.com Ltd., an information and marketing company serving the North American agriculture and food industry, becomes a major shareholder in the new agriculture careers company.

“Agcareers.com now brings together the most job postings with the greatest number of job seekers in agriculture,” says Eric Spell, president of AgCareers. Spell was formerly president of Jobhog.net, a confidential resume hosting and job posting on-line career site he founded in 2001 for the agriculture and food sectors.

“Employers looking for qualified candidates and individuals seeking a job or career in agriculture now have just one on-line resource to bookmark, visit and use,” adds Spell.

In addition to online job postings and resume hosting, AgCareers is becoming a leading supplier of HR services and offers ag employers human resources conferences, training and consulting.
