PigCHAMP Offers New Benchmarking Service Producers can compare their herds with PigCHAMP Pork Industry Benchmarks.

Ames, IA - PigCHAMP has produced a print magazine that is available to PigCHAMP customers and other interested producers who would like to have an analysis of the 2005 PigCHAMP Benchmarking pork production data. "The Magazine contains a wealth of information to help producers identify areas in which they are doing well compared to the average of the benchmarking group," says JoAnn Alumbaugh the Editor of Benchmark. The data in this review represents more than one million sows from operations across North America and was analyzed with the help of Dr. John Deen and his team from the University of Minnesota.

The Benchmark magazine was mailed free of charge to the PigCHAMP benchmark participants and PigCHAMP customers, other interested producers can request a copy or pick one up at the pork industry tradeshows this summer at the PigCHAMP booth.
